A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of hosting our Nanny’s wedding with the help of Pottery Barn in Sugar Land, TX.  She wanted to keep it very low key and simple so that’s what we did!  Stephan at Pottery barn was wonderful – he helped me come up with table centerpiece while Casey, our Au Pair, also had input.  She wanted to use succulents in her bouquet (which we made in about an hour – I’ll put together a quick tutorial later and post on the blog) so I thought it would be nice to also include them in the décor.  When I told Stephen, he was fast to create – and had some ideas with succulents to me the next day.  Casey also had her now, sister-in-law, custom print koozies, create a wooden sign for all guests to sign, as well as personalize a box to house advice cards for all guests to fill out (which reminds me, I still need to do mine!) . All of the details turned out perfectly and we were able to keep them under budget.  Tell me, what do you guys do to stick to a budget when planning parties?
