Little Farmers Market

I had so much fun planning the boys 2nd birthday!  I knew exactly what I wanted about 6 months ago and found a ton of inspiration on Pinterest and Instagram!  I may or may not have gone a bit overboard but they only turn 2 once right?  And any excuse to throw a party is never a bad thing!  I’m sure next year they will be telling me they want red and yellow trucks with dinosaurs and flying dragons!

Wedding Bells

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of hosting our Nanny’s wedding with the help of Pottery Barn in Sugar Land, TX.  She wanted to keep it very low key and simple so that’s what we did!  Stephan at Pottery barn was wonderful – he helped me come up with table centerpiece while Casey, our Au Pair, also had input.  She wanted to use succulents in her bouquet (which we made in about an hour –

Gingham Style?

I have been obsessing lately with gingham.  You can find it everywhere in my house and now even in my closet.  This dress from Zara is absolutely adorable.  It is on the shorter side and I had to size way down but it is perfect for the weekend.  Paired with booties makes it casual, perfect for running errands in the Houston humidity or you can even style it with some heels.  I also love it with a floppy hat –

Baby Noah in the House!

When I was deciding on newborn photos for Noah, I knew I really wanted a Lifestyle shoot, right in the comfort of my own home.  I’m not one that is huge into props, I tend to prefer a more organic feel to my pictures.  Also, the idea of dragging the family (a newborn and two 17 month olds) to a location for pictures after just having a c-section was a bit overwhelming.  So when Fulleylove Photography asked me about doing pictures,

Pretty Little Pinterest Fail

When I saw this on Pinterest I was super excited…an alcoholic beverage with cotton candy, yes please!  Needless to say, I definitely didn’t do enough research as to how to get the cotton candy to sit on the rim of the glass without touching the liquid…because you know, common sense.  Anyway, it was fun and I enjoyed eating the cotton candy and have a sip or two of lemonade!  This one is from World Market –

4th of July

I had so much fun putting the table together for the 4th of July.  We actually spent the day recovering from our drive home from Oklahoma that we did over night Monday.  We made a last minute decision to visit our friends and family.  It was so nice to catch up and let all of the babies (can I even say babies anymore when they are almost two?) play together.  Noah met his friend who was actually born on the same day,

Easy Pasta Salad

Pasta salad is one of my favorite things to eat.  I started making this one when I was in high school.  My mom absolutely loves to cook and unfortunately for me, I just don’t have the time right now to spend a lot of time in the kitchen.  That’s why I love pasta salad – it’s quick, tasty and even pretty!  Perfect for the busy, working mom.

Here is the recipe below:

Ingredients:

1 box pasta

1 cup chopped cucumber

1/4 cup purple onion

1/2 cup red peppers

(any other veggie that you love) think,

RED, WHITE & BLUEBERRIES

For those of you who know me, I don’t do much of the cooking around the house.  In fact, I really don’t do any of it.  I really wish I did, but honestly, I don’t have the time.  So when I come across easy recipes, I get super excited.  I found this one on Pinterest and it looked easy enough that I was able to make it tonight!  It’s also perfect for the upcoming holiday weekend,

Newborn Life

I can’t believe that Noah will be 12 weeks old on Friday – it feels like just yesterday that these pictures were taken.  When I was younger, I didn’t want to listen to my parents when they would tell me to enjoy the moment because time goes by much faster the older you get.  Now I finally understand what they meant.  We are all so busy living life that its easy to get into a routine and miss those moments.

Mother’s Day

This is my second Mother’s Day and now I have three baby boys!  We don’t have much planned for the weekend but honestly, I’m really looking forward to it.  Time is flying so fast.  I can’t believe that the boys are almost 20 months old and Noah is close to 3 months.  I told my husband that all I wanted for Mother’s Day were pictures of me and the boys.  Since my mother in law was in town as well,
